Huge Weekend at the IBJJF Pan Pacific Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Melbourne
It was an incredible weekend for our team at the IBJJF Pan Pacific Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Melbourne! This prestigious Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) event continues to grow each year, attracting high-level competitors from across Australia and around the world.
Our athletes put on outstanding performances across multiple divisions, bringing home an impressive collection of medals and showcasing the hard work and dedication they put into their training.
Team Results – IBJJF Pan Pacs Melbourne 2025
🥇 Tyler Bernardo – Junior Orange Belt Division
Tyler dominated his category, finishing his matches with smooth submissions to secure the gold medal.
🥇🥇 Josh Allsopp – Black Belt Divisions
Josh faced some of the toughest brackets of the weekend and came away with double gold, proving his elite-level skill and composure on the mats.
🥇🥉 Amina Abdullah – Blue Belt Division & Open Weight
Amina submitted both of her opponents to win gold in her weight class and also earned a bronze medal in the open weight division.
🥇🥈🥈🥉 Edie Broughton – Purple Belt Division
Edie showed consistency and heart, claiming gold in her weight category along with two silvers and a bronze medal across her events.
A Strong Showing for Our BJJ Team
We’re extremely proud of all our athletes for their effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the weekend. Each competitor represented the academy with pride and demonstrated the technical skill and discipline that make Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Australia such a thriving community.
